We have serious work planned for the summer, but we also left some room for fun in the sun.
Sphen
Our Sphen initiative, named after the scientific name for the penguin, contains a number of projects centered on improving the Adélie Linux distribution. We believe strongly in their mission of creating a distribution that works equally well on older and newer hardware.
Some of the projects we have lined up for this summer include continued toolchain updates, improving automated testing of packages, and full support for Wayland desktop compositors.
Additionally, we have received sponsorship to bring a special improvement to the Adélie distribution. We will share more details as it continues along in development.
Spyglass
We are continuing the design and development on the next-generation of our game Findalike, which has the new code-name Spyglass. The game engine will be developed as fully Libre Software. There will be a version for Apple iOS devices and a special open source version for Linux systems. We are researching additional platforms.
We expect to invite our patrons on Patreon to be a part of the development of Spyglass, and we hope you will join us there to share in the fun!
Consulting
We aim to grow our local consultancy throughout the Tulsa, Oklahoma area in addition to our existing global online consultancy. We want to bring our wide technical knowledge and our passion for security to people and small businesses. If you need guidance about technology, reach out.
